I'm guessing that ABC may abandon the 3:30pm slot completely this day and use the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Classic to start its coverage this season. Now that the Big Ten has slightly stretched out its schedule, they can pass on the Big Ten a couple times if they desire and UConn-Michigan just doesn't warrant wasting an ABC window, in my opinion.
Also think FSN will pass on a PAC-10 window for this week. The available games do not warrant it either.

UConn/Michigan will be a national game at 330pm, you can mark that down. ESPN has already started the "Rich Rod on the hot seat" story and they will run it into the ground by week 1.
And selfishly as a UConn season ticket holder, UConn is going to be very good this year and will be near the top 25.

I've found when trying to guess this stuff that I've picked games that I expected ABC to do and they ended up falling to ESPN, FSN, etc. UConn is going to be very good this fall, challenging for the Big East title. And while Michigan has the "name", the on-field product hasn't been good.
If ESPN hadn't placed the Atlanta Nationwide Series at 6:30pm on ESPN2, plus placing Texas vs. Rice at 3:30pm on ESPN, there would be room for a reverse mirror and I could see both UConn-Michigan and UCLA-Kansas St. being picked up.
