CFB TV Guesses for 2025 Week 10 (11/1/2025)

Here are the games already set for television and/or webcast. Here are the known available telecast windows.

I have done my best to list what TV windows are out there. Every listing service has a little different schedule for these networks. It is also possible that a window could be eliminated or the time of a window could shift slightly to accommodate a network's needs.

Instead of cluttering up these posts even more, I'll try to keep track of the unique conference TV arrangements in a separate post.

A few notes and considerations:

* ABC's mid-afternoon SEC window is already selected.
* NBC will have two Big Ten games bookending their Breeders Cup coverage.
* FOX's primetime window will depend on if they have a World Series game.  Expect to be slotted so they can either air it on FOX or FS1.
* BTN has two games but none in the noon slot.  Might be a byproduct of NBC carrying a game at noon.
* No SEC Network early game this week with only one early game available, and its only available for ABC or ESPN.
* The CW's ACC window is later in the day which opens it up for Stanford to host on the network.
* Games slotted for time or a TV network family, but not both:
  • Fresno State at Boise State (TBA, FOX Sports)
  • Jackson State at Florida A&M (7pm, ESPN linear nets or ESPN+)
  • SEC game slots
    • Vanderbilt at Texas (12pm, ABC or ESPN)
    • Mississippi State at Arkansas (mid-afternoon)
    • All other games can air mid-afternoon or evening)
* I have FOX, CBS, then NBC's two selections for the Big Ten.
* With the Big 12, I have ESPN (Arizona State at Iowa State) ahead of FOX (Cincinnati at Utah).
* I had trouble placing the ACC games, along with Navy and North Texas.  Felt that the American's game deserves ESPN2.  As much as I didn't want to toss Georgia Tech to ACC Network, I felt that would be a better choice than ESPNU.

This post will be updated as announcements come out for start times for Week 9 (10/25/25) from the (mostly) twelve day selection process that most TV networks adhere to. Most conferences have the possibility of having all or part of their scheduled games held for a six day hold for the start time and/or the TV network. The list of available TV windows are based on media websites, TV listings and press releases. CFB TV Guesses for 2025 Week 9 (10/25/2025)

* FOX will not have a primetime window due to World Series Game 2.
* Games slotted for a start time or a TV network, but not both:
  • San Diego State at Fresno State (TBA, FOX Sports)
  • North Dakota State at South Dakota State (TBA, ESPN linear TV nets)
  • Rutgers at Purdue (12pm, TBA)
  • Alabama A&M vs. Alabama State (3:30pm, ESPN linear TV or ESPN+)
  • SEC game slots
    • Early only: Auburn at Arkansas & Ole Miss at Oklahoma
    • Evening only: Tennessee at Kentucky
    • Everything else can flex between afternoon and evening
* I went with FOX having the top pick for the Big Ten, followed by NBC and CBS. Struggled a little due to several Week 7 Big Ten results.  Michigan can certainly be a ratings juggernaut, but I went with UCLA at Indiana at the top.  I realize this is also Michigan State's 3rd night game at home based on how I ordered things too, but I don't think I'd see how NBC would pass up another opportunity at the Wolverines.
* For the Big 12, I had ESPN picking BYU at Iowa State first, then Colorado at Utah.  I had FOX coming in 3rd with Houston at Arizona State.
* FS1 only listed three telecast windows, which indicates that FOX Sports will only carry one Big 12 game since they don't have a late evening broadcast network window planned.
* North Dakota State at South Dakota State looks like it could be No. 1 vs. No. 2 in FCS.  I'd love to get it to ESPN2, but I fear its going to be stuck on ESPNU.
* We should receive the game ESPN will air from the American on Black Friday.  Despite the loss this past Friday for the Mean Green, I'd expect Temple at North Texas to be moved.

CFB TV Guesses for 2025 Week 8 (10/18/2025)

Here are the games already set for television and/or webcast. Here are the known available telecast windows.

I have done my best to list what TV windows are out there. Every listing service has a little different schedule for these networks. It is also possible that a window could be eliminated or the time of a window could shift slightly to accommodate a network's needs.

Instead of cluttering up these posts even more, I'll try to keep track of the unique conference TV arrangements in a separate post.

A few notes and considerations:

* Peacock will carry a pair of Big Ten games.  NBC will not have a Big Ten game due to airing a Notre Dame home game in primetime.
* Two ACC games were preselected for ESPN's late evening and The CW.
* BTN has two windows but at unique start times: 3pm & 6:30pm ET.
* Games set for time or TV but not both:
  • Michigan State at Indiana (12pm, 3:30pm or 4pm, TBA)
  • Oregon at Rutgers (6:30pm or 7pm, TBA)
  • Alcorn State at Florida A&M (4pm, ESPN Nets)
  • Nevada at New Mexico (TBA, FOX Sports)
  • UNLV at Boise State (TBA, FOX Sports)
  • SEC time slots:
    • Mississippi State at Florida - afternoon only
    • Texas at Kentucky -  evening only
    • Oklahoma at South Carolina & LSU at Vanderbilt - early only
    • All other games not previously mentioned can be afternoon or evening
* I had CBS selecting first for the Big Ten, followed by FOX and NBC choosing both of its Peacock games.
* For the Big 12, I had FOX choosing ahead of ESPN.  I have Utah at BYU in the noon slot (10am local) with the possibility that it could be the noon ABC game swapping with LSU at Vanderbilt.  There's a chance you'll see a Big 12 six day hold used for some or all of the schedule, and maybe lumping UNLV at Boise State into the mix for the 8pm FOX slot.
* Another place where there might be a six day hold: 3:30pm and 7:30pm ABC with both Tennessee at Alabama and Ole Miss at Georgia.

12pm ABC: LSU at Vanderbilt
12pm FOX: Washington at Michigan
12pm ESPN: Utah at BYU

12pm ESPNU: Memphis at UAB
12pm CBSSN: Central Michigan at Bowling Green
12pm ACCN: UConn at Boston College
12:45pm SECN: Oklahoma at South Carolina
3pm BTN: Maryland at UCLA
3:30pm ABC: Tennessee at Alabama
3:30pm CBS: Ohio State at Wisconsin
3:30pm ESPN: Missouri at Auburn
3:30pm FS1: Nevada at New Mexico
3:30pm ESPNU: Old Dominion at James Madison
