CFB TV Confirmations for 2026 Week 7 (10/15/2026-10/17/2026)

This post will be updated as announcements come out for start times for Week 7 (10/15/26 - 10/17/26) from the (mostly) twelve day selection process that most TV networks adhere to. Most conferences have the possibility of having all or part of their scheduled games held for a six day hold for the start time and/or the TV network. The list of available TV windows are based on media websites, TV listings and press releases. They can change based on the needs of the broadcaster or the conference.

  1. is the Peacock game in week 7 not expected to be a NBCSN Simulcast?

    1. It likely is. I haven't been putting NBCSN next to every one of them since only a couple carriers have NBCSN. I do note it on the weekly schedules.

  2. when did ESPN2 get a 10:30 Window for this week? I didn't see it in listings, and ESPN watch doesn't have a game there at 10:30

    1. Appears they created it when the ACC & Big 12 were announced for 10/17 to fit everything in that they intended to carry.

  3. Georgia State at JMU is at 12:00 PM on ESPNU, per Georgia states football twitter

  4. new Mexico hawaii should now be 10:30 on FS1 based off the big 12 and big 10 slotting (probably was always going to be a late night game)

  5. the games at central michigan and eastern michigan are backwards with the times

  6. You have FS1 with a 3:30 PM window and a 7:00 PM window. Is the PSU @ Michigan game expected to be so bad that FS1 just gives up after 2 and a half hours?

  7. For the B1G games, the two games that don't have a decided time have 4 possible TV slots they can fit into. The PSU game has a set time, but 2 possible time slots. Is there a 4th game that could fit into one of these slots, or would a channel go without football at a slot of it isn't chosen?

    1. CBS and NBC will have their games no matter what. The 3rd game airs on either FS1 at 3:30 or FOX at 11pm. The network depends on which game FOX Sports ends up with.

  8. ABC made the right decision to have Notre Dame vs. BYU as the prime-time game. Both teams will be in the top 10 next week, provided neither one of them stubs their toe this coming weekend. ESPN or ESPN2 also made the right decision to select Utah vs. Colorado as the late-night game, since it is highly likely this game will be a blowout, which will cause a decrease in viewership as the game goes past 1 am in Eastern time zone.

Here is my prediction for the SEC games on 10/17:
    12:00: ABC: Florida vs. Texas
    ESPN: Mississippi State vs. LSU

    3:30: ABC: Alabama vs. Tennessee
    ESPN: Missouri vs. Ole Miss
SECN: Auburn vs. Georgia (since this game will be less competitive compared to the other 2 matchups at this time slot; this game would easily be on ABC in most years, but Auburn is not that good this year, especially compared to the other 5 teams listed)

Here is my prediction for Big 10 games:

    If Penn State beats USC:
3:30: CBS: Penn State vs. Michigan
    FS1: Wisconsin vs. UCLA

    If USC beats Penn State:
    3:30: CBS: Wisconsin vs. UCLA
    FS1: Penn State vs. Michigan

7:30: NBC: Nebraska-Oregon (especially if Oregon beats UCLA and Nebraska plays a respectable game against Indiana on Saturday)
