Big 12, for example, plays a full round robin in football so that's less likely to want to schedule a 2nd game vs. one of those opponents.

ACC, on the other hand, has large breaks in time for some teams to play each other, so UNC & Wake wanted to schedule games against each other when they weren't playing as part of the intraconference schedule.Matt Sarzyniakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07967516926073948559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9137059844561398433.post-316636992307342872019-06-23T22:33:24.007-04:002019-06-23T22:33:24.007-04:00How many times do you think we could see in confer...How many times do you think we could see in conference (Example Big 12 @ Big 12) games this 2019 season so I can prepare for this upcoming year Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9137059844561398433.post-36235906633104796022019-06-03T21:38:35.805-04:002019-06-03T21:38:35.805-04:00Very weird that the late night games are super lim...Very weird that the late night games are super limited in week one. Or maybe ESPN decided not to offer anything to them. Especially the season being played over 14 weeks this year. You could argue that Arizona State-Michigan State, NC State-West Virginia or Iowa-Iowa State will be better games in week three, but I don't see any of them drawing better than Ohio State-Indiana.

Outside of Texas-LSU, which ESPN picked first, there isn't a Big 12 game in the first three weeks that would have moved the needle at noon Eastern.

The thing I question about FOX's selections is not drafting the first pick in week 2 for USC-Stanford. Perhaps ESPN took that pick early, but assuming they already knew they had Texas-LSU, I not sure why they would have.

Darrell McKownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06037241372858035463noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9137059844561398433.post-81174454199777022142019-06-01T16:27:02.004-04:002019-06-01T16:27:02.004-04:00The only reason I bring it up is because some of t...The only reason I bring it up is because some of those FSN games this coming season aree not the member retained games.Matt Sarzyniakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07967516926073948559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9137059844561398433.post-81323292985381369262019-06-01T13:53:07.298-04:002019-06-01T13:53:07.298-04:00Not sure why some are not understanding FOX's ...Not sure why some are not understanding FOX's goal to put it's best game at 12pm et/ 11am ct. Otherwise know as lead-ins for the day.

Having FAU-Ohio State in week one and Army-Michigan in week two are much better lead one's than Northwestern-Stanford and Nebraska-Colorado. Plus, the time zone factor. Also, Army might be a pre-season Top 25 team. So, that match up is bigger than many might think.

In Week 3, it's also a time zone factor as Arizona State-Michigan State. Oklahoma-UCLA follow the noon start of a conference game of Ohio State at Indiana. It appears the new deal the Big 12 schools signed with espn+ will move all those games to that streaming service in a branded Big 12 link. 4 of the schools already have their institutional football games scheduled on espn+ this fall, while the other 4 (not named OU or Ut) will move their games starting in the 2020 season to espn+. The agreement with espn+, per media reports, includes all institutional controlled sports. K Bnoreply@blogger.com
