Because Alabama used up its PPV option against Florida International, the game against Chattanooga has to be televised on ESPN Networks. CSS has a college basketball telecast in the evening, so I think that there could be a split SEC Network 12pm telecast.

Cal and Stanford alums have told the respective athletic departments that a nighttime Big Game is not acceptable, so that game will not be late. It will go in either the 12:30 Pacific or 3:30/4:00 Pacific spot.
ReplyDeleteThere have been several cases where the ABC San Francisco affiliate, KGO, has been allowed to pre-empt the 12:30 ABC Pac-10 regional telecast with a local telecast of the Big Game, shown on KGO only.
Makes sense. Using my site and nationalchamps.net, here's the game times for the Big Game for the past decade
