Here are the games already set for television and/or webcast. Here are the known available telecast windows.
I have done my best to list what TV windows are out there. Every listing service has a little different schedule for these networks. It is also possible that a window could be eliminated or the time of a window could shift slightly to accommodate a network's needs.
Instead of cluttering up these posts even more, I'll try to keep track of the unique conference TV arrangements in a separate post.
A few notes and considerations:
- Games set for TV family or time, but not both
- BYU at Arizona State (TBA, ABC/ESPN Nets)
- Air Force at Nevada (TBA, FOX Sports)
- Ole Miss at Florida (12pm, ABC or ESPN)
- SEC game time slotting
- 12pm: Ole Miss at Florida
- Mid-afternoon: Missouri at Mississippi State
- Night: Vanderbilt at LSU
- Flex: Texas A&M at Auburn, Alabama at Oklahoma, Kentucky at Texas
- CW has two ACC windows scheduled for noon and 3:30pm ET.
- I gave FOX the top Big Ten choice. Have heard/read a few theories on where Indiana-Ohio State will end up. In short, I think FOX has a larger portion of the top choices. After that I had CBS and NBC.
- Yes, NBC does appear to have a 10:15pm ET window listed for the Big Ten. And as many of you have speculated, its a place for USC-UCLA
- I think there's a realistic chance BYU at Arizona State ends up as the 7:30pm ABC game.
- After BYU at Arizona State, I assumed that FOX takes the top remaining Big 12 choice.
- Both Penn State and Illinois require BTN games to fulfill their conference game requirement. Figured that Penn State can fulfill theirs vs. Maryland on 11/30.
- ESPN's late evening window is on ESPN2 instead due to the Formula 1 grand prix from Las Vegas.
- FS1 doesn't list a 12pm window. Instead they list horse racing.

This would be so crappy for LA fans. I thought those games were literally banned from the late slot after the parking lot stabbing. To actually create a new time slot for NBC specifically for this game in the slot that everybody hates and is actively dangerous is so bad. But I guess the LA school admins don’t actually care about anything but the check clearing.
ReplyDeleteIt’s a 7:15 local time kickoff in Pasadena. There is absolutely no reason not to play a night game in the Rose Bowl.
DeleteThis was likely strategic by NBC. They have usc womens basketball vs notre at 4 pm est: get to have usc or Notre dame athletics on their channel for several hours
ReplyDeleteWith NBC game at 7:30, I wouldn't be surprised to see FOX run a Big Ten game in the prime-time window. You would think Wisconsin-Nebraska should outdraw their #2 Big 12 game, and those two schools have generally not objected to Saturday night games in November that I can recall.
ReplyDeleteIt could be Indiana-Ohio State at night and Wisconsin-Nebraska at noon.
DeleteThat would contrary to FOX's Big Noon approach. Other than getting stuck a homecoming game situation with a locked-in start time, they will always put their #1 game in the noon window.
DeleteNebraska has already played 3 home night games, which is supposedly the max per the B1G broadcast agreements. So I doubt Wis @ Neb would be a night game.
ReplyDeleteI know Michigan State has had 4 night home games, though I believe they were told that the FAU Friday opener doesn't count because it was their choice to move the game to Friday.
