CFB TV Confirmations for 2024 Week 12 (11/12/24 - 11/16/24)

This post will be updated as announcements come out for start times for Week 11 (11/5/24 - 11/9/24) from the (mostly) twelve day selection process that most TV networks adhere to. Most conferences have the possibility of having all or part of their scheduled games held for a six day hold for the start time and/or the TV network. The list of available TV windows are based on media websites, TV listings and press releases. They can change based on the needs of the broadcaster or the conference.

CFB TV Guesses for 2024 Week 12 (11/12/24 - 11/16/24)

Here are the games already set for television and/or webcast. Here are the known available telecast windows.

I have done my best to list what TV windows are out there. Every listing service has a little different schedule for these networks. It is also possible that a window could be eliminated or the time of a window could shift slightly to accommodate a network's needs.

Instead of cluttering up these posts even more, I'll try to keep track of the unique conference TV arrangements in a separate post.

A few notes and considerations:

  • Games set for time or TV, but not both
    • Ohio State vs. Northwestern (12pm or 3:30pm, TBA)
    • Washington State at New Mexico (TBA, FOX Sports)
    • Tulane at Navy (12pm, ABC/ESPN Nets)
    • Texas at Arkansas (12pm, ABC or ESPN)
    • Nebraska at USC is USC's homecoming game, but can be played in any west coast timeslot
  • SEC game slotting
    • 12pm: Texas at Arkansas
    • Mid-afternoon: Missouri at South Carolina
    • Flex: LSU at Florida & Tennessee at Georgia
  • The ACC game on the CW moves to later in the afternoon now that the network is done with their NASCAR coverage.
  • With Purdue at Ohio State being taken by FOX, its virtually assured that Ohio State vs. Northwestern will be on BTN.
  • ACC Network does not have an early game opening due to men's college basketball.
  • FS1's start times are slightly off due to a men's college basketball game at noon.
  • I gave FOX the top Big Ten pick, followed by NBC and CBS.
  • BTN only has one game window.  They have a pair of basketball games, one men's game and one women's game, followed by a pair of women's volleyball games.  It is possible that the 12pm window could have two concurrent games.
  • There's a possibility of a MEAC game at 3:30pm, but I went with Jackson State at Alabama State from the SWAC.

Six Day CFB TV Guesses for 11/9

Six day guesses for 11/9.  I assume CBS will pick ahead of FOX and NBC, in that order, for the Big Ten.  As for the Big 12, I believe FOX is going first with the remaining selections.  Also, I do think that each Big Ten broadcast TV partner will have their games without another Big Ten game concurrent on another broadcast network, so I have FOX's Big Ten game at night.

12pm FOX: Colorado at Texas Tech
12pm ESPN: Miami (FL) at Georgia Tech
12pm NBC: Purdue at Ohio State
12pm CW: Duke at NC State
3:30pm CBS: Washington at Penn State

3:30pm FS1: Oklahoma Sate at TCU
3:30pm Peacock: Minnesota at Rutgers
3:30pm ACCN: Syracuse at Boston College
4pm FOX: Iowa State vs. Kansas
7pm ESPN: Mississippi State at Tennessee
7pm ESPN2: UCF at Arizona State
7pm FS1: Nevada at Boise State
7:45pm SECN: Oklahoma at Missouri
8pm FOX: Michigan at Indiana
8pm ACCN: Virginia at Pitt
