CFB TV Guesses for 2024 Week 12 (11/12/24 - 11/16/24)

Here are the games already set for television and/or webcast. Here are the known available telecast windows.

I have done my best to list what TV windows are out there. Every listing service has a little different schedule for these networks. It is also possible that a window could be eliminated or the time of a window could shift slightly to accommodate a network's needs.

Instead of cluttering up these posts even more, I'll try to keep track of the unique conference TV arrangements in a separate post.

A few notes and considerations:

  • Games set for time or TV, but not both
    • Ohio State vs. Northwestern (12pm or 3:30pm, TBA)
    • Washington State at New Mexico (TBA, FOX Sports)
    • Tulane at Navy (12pm, ABC/ESPN Nets)
    • Texas at Arkansas (12pm, ABC or ESPN)
    • Nebraska at USC is USC's homecoming game, but can be played in any west coast timeslot
  • SEC game slotting
    • 12pm: Texas at Arkansas
    • Mid-afternoon: Missouri at South Carolina
    • Flex: LSU at Florida & Tennessee at Georgia
  • The ACC game on the CW moves to later in the afternoon now that the network is done with their NASCAR coverage.
  • With Purdue at Ohio State being taken by FOX, its virtually assured that Ohio State vs. Northwestern will be on BTN.
  • ACC Network does not have an early game opening due to men's college basketball.
  • FS1's start times are slightly off due to a men's college basketball game at noon.
  • I gave FOX the top Big Ten pick, followed by NBC and CBS.
  • BTN only has one game window.  They have a pair of basketball games, one men's game and one women's game, followed by a pair of women's volleyball games.  It is possible that the 12pm window could have two concurrent games.
  • There's a possibility of a MEAC game at 3:30pm, but I went with Jackson State at Alabama State from the SWAC.

NBC seems due for a first choice, so perhaps Oregon at Wisconsin in prime time on NBC, putting Nebraska at USC at 12:30 PT on CBS and Michigan State at Illinois at 11:00am CT on FOX

Considered that.

I saw BTN has the South Dakota-Nebraska women's basketball game at 6:00 ET foilowed by Indiana at Nebraska volleyball match at 8:30 ET, so I doubt the B1G overlaps the Husker viewership

These are guesses, not confirmations, aren't they?

Correct. I'll fix the title

I was assuming that both Ohio State and Penn State would get their Big Ten Network games in this weekend, but I don't think they would run those two teams against each in the same time slot (and against Big Noon since FOX since FOX is controlling everything). I didn't realize they had so much basketball and volleyball commitment this weekend.

Not a fan of West Coast teams playing on Fox’s “Big Noon Eastern.” FWIW, I think Nebraska-USC will be 6 ET on FS1.

Understood, but Oregon is No. 1 and it's FOX's primary spot. Seems like a match if FOX is going first.

What does SMU have to do to get off ACCN?
