This post will be updated as announcements come out for start times for 10/29/22 from the twelve day selection process that most TV networks adhere to. Most conferences have the possibility of having all or part of their games held for a six day hold for the start time.
The list of available TV windows are based on media websites, TV listings and press releases. They can change based on the needs of the broadcaster or the conference.
Here's what I guessed based on the available openings (they will prove to be incorrect), along with the games that have already been set.
There's also a handful of rules that both conferences and TV networks have put into their agreements which affect these selections, which are updated weekly and can be found here.

They used 3/4 Pac 12 Six day holds in 1 week? interesting,
ReplyDeleteIts not a game per hold. Its a single hold used for 1 or more games per week.

ReplyDeleteDon't know. Might be unused.

ReplyDeleteI was told that, so I wrote it down.
Delete6-day hold for the rest of the big ten then?
ReplyDeleteI guess. None of the remaining schools have announced anything, or even said they're on hold.
ReplyDeleteSeems like to me between FOX and ESPN, they are short two slots without going to FS2, ESPN+, and/or doubling-up on BTN windows, most of which have some limitations associated with them.
ReplyDeleteSeems like we are going to see 4 BTN games and either Big 12 on ESPN+ (that really shouldn't be) or Boise State/BYU parked for now on FS2 pending a World Series Game 7.
And the ESPN2 late night window unused.
Considering ESPN likely picked first this week, is Oregon Colorado more likely to be on FS1 at 7/8mountain time? thats what wilner said.
ReplyDeleteNo idea on the order, but he's correct that they have to move the start time to 10 ET if either Arizona-Utah or Oregon-Colorado airs on FS1.
DeleteIf regional splits were allowed for Pac-12 Network conference games, all five games on Nov. 5 would be on it.
ReplyDeleteToo many Bill Dauterive/Dale Gribble-caliber games, no Hank Hill-caliber games.

ReplyDeleteMatt, For November 5: Texas at Kansas State football game will remain on FS1 and BYU at Boise State football game will remain on FS2 due to the Astros winning Game 4 of the World Series.

ReplyDeleteThanks. Looks like the schedule has changed due to the Game 3 postponement from Monday to Tuesday.
