* According to Jon Wilner of Bay Area News Group, CBS has preference on the pick for the Big Ten. Its now a bit clearer why they passed up Iowa-USC so they could keep UCLA-USC alive as a potential selection for themselves (NBC thanks them too).
* The Big 12 will have two games on FOX Sports, one on TNT and the remaining two on ESPN platforms.
* If ESPN were to go with UCF at BYU first, I could see that being the ABC game at noon ET (BYU will likely be just fine with a 10am local start), moving Texas Tech at WVU to FOX at 3:30pm and Miami (FL) at Pitt to ESPN at noon.
* Charlotte at Tulane is a mismatch, but Tulane appears to have pole position in the CFP committee's mind for the Group of 5 conference champion slot.
