CFB TV Confirmations for 2025 Week 8 (10/18/2025)

This post will be updated as announcements come out for start times for Week 8 (10/18/25) from the (mostly) twelve day selection process that most TV networks adhere to. Most conferences have the possibility of having all or part of their scheduled games held for a six day hold for the start time and/or the TV network. The list of available TV windows are based on media websites, TV listings and press releases. They can change based on the needs of the broadcaster or the conference.

CFB TV Guesses for 2025 Week 8 (10/18/2025)

Here are the games already set for television and/or webcast. Here are the known available telecast windows.

I have done my best to list what TV windows are out there. Every listing service has a little different schedule for these networks. It is also possible that a window could be eliminated or the time of a window could shift slightly to accommodate a network's needs.

Instead of cluttering up these posts even more, I'll try to keep track of the unique conference TV arrangements in a separate post.

A few notes and considerations:

* Peacock will carry a pair of Big Ten games.  NBC will not have a Big Ten game due to airing a Notre Dame home game in primetime.
* Two ACC games were preselected for ESPN's late evening and The CW.
* BTN has two windows but at unique start times: 3pm & 6:30pm ET.
* Games set for time or TV but not both:
  • Michigan State at Indiana (12pm, 3:30pm or 4pm, TBA)
  • Oregon at Rutgers (6:30pm or 7pm, TBA)
  • Alcorn State at Florida A&M (4pm, ESPN Nets)
  • Nevada at New Mexico (TBA, FOX Sports)
  • UNLV at Boise State (TBA, FOX Sports)
  • SEC time slots:
    • Mississippi State at Florida - afternoon only
    • Texas at Kentucky -  evening only
    • Oklahoma at South Carolina & LSU at Vanderbilt - early only
    • All other games not previously mentioned can be afternoon or evening
* I had CBS selecting first for the Big Ten, followed by FOX and NBC choosing both of its Peacock games.
* For the Big 12, I had FOX choosing ahead of ESPN.  I have Utah at BYU in the noon slot (10am local) with the possibility that it could be the noon ABC game swapping with LSU at Vanderbilt.  There's a chance you'll see a Big 12 six day hold used for some or all of the schedule, and maybe lumping UNLV at Boise State into the mix for the 8pm FOX slot.
* Another place where there might be a six day hold: 3:30pm and 7:30pm ABC with both Tennessee at Alabama and Ole Miss at Georgia.
