Here are the games already set for television and/or webcast. Here are the known available telecast windows.
I have done my best to list what TV windows are out there. Every listing service has a little different schedule for these networks. It is also possible that a window could be eliminated or the time of a window could shift slightly to accommodate a network's needs.
Instead of cluttering up these posts even more, I'll try to keep track of the unique conference TV arrangements in a separate post.
A few notes and considerations:
- Set for time or TV, but not both:
- Washington State at Fresno State (TBA, FOX Sports)
- South Carolina at Alabama (12pm, ABC or ESPN)
- Texas vs. Oklahoma (3:30pm, ABC or ESPN)
- SEC scheduling time slots:
- Noon:

- UMass is guaranteed one linear TV game on ESPN TV nets, and with Missouri being highly ranked, I put this one on ESPN2.
- Yes, Fresno State was destroyed by UNLV, but I have this one on FOX for a couple reasons:
- FS1 is limited in the time slots they have games. They don't have a 12pm game as they've decided to host UEFA soccer, so I can't put a game in that window
- With BTN not intending to show any football (at the moment, no windows are listed for the network on 10/12), I think FOX/FS1 has three Big Ten games to carry. I don't think they'll have a competing Big Ten game with NBC or CBS on FOX.
- I believe FOX will look at not competing with Ohio State-Oregon and slotting a MW game in is the best way to "lay out"
- Ole Miss at LSU lost a bit of luster with the upset by Kentucky over Ole Miss, but I think its still the best available game for them to carry at night for ABC.
- If you want to make a case that Purdue at Illinois should be on Peacock instead of Wisconsin at Rutgers, go ahead. Its a fair substitution but both Purdue and Illinois have already had a game on Peacock this season.
- I gave ESPN the top Big 12 selection (Kansas State-Colorado) and it was been widely speculated, commented on, etc. that NBC has top choice this week for the Big Ten (Ohio State-Oregon). I believe FOX is picking behind CBS for this week.

Wondering why you are predicting Missouri-UMass to be a night game? I would’ve thought the Noon window for that one
No major reason. Figured it might be worth hiding an expected blowout when others are watching Ohio State-Oregon.

I think BTN will show 1 game. They probably don't have a timeslot because they can't put MIN-UCLA at Noon ET so they have to remain flexible. Volleyball would have probably been set if the whole schedule was known to be clear.
with the SEC now on ABC, the big 12 and ACC lost space
for games on ABC. I think ABC will try at all costs to make the Prime Time window the most watched window this season on all networks. they haven't put the best game on at 3:30
Texas-OU is already set for 3:30 ET and won’t be played at night in any event, so the best game will be at 3:30 this week.
If I'm not mistaken, it will be the first time this season that the best SEC game on ABC will be in the 3:30 slot, I think they will continue to prioritize Sartuday night football
Technically, Week 2 also had the primary SEC game at 3:30pm. Big 12 was at noon and the Tennessee-NC State game was an ACC controlled neutral site game.
And you may not be able to tell the difference on Oct 19.
Mango yes the SEC has completely dominated the ABC windows that sometimes used to go to the ACC, Big 12, or PAC 12. Seems like Disney only values the Big 12 for filling the after dark window.
Kinda of odd to see FOX is not going to pick first choice for Big Ten game for fourth straight weeks?
Depends what you consider top choice to be for 9/28. I think we differ on that.
I believed Peacock pick first. They chose Ohio State vs Michigan State.
Supposedly Peacock's choices are supposed to be at the back (at least after the broadcast networks), at least that was according to Kerry Kenny from the Big Ten in an Athletic interview this summer. But I imagine some of the FS1 choices ended up as FOX Friday games.
Fox had first pick for 9/28. Selected Little Brown Jug. Didn't want to use their one time slot switch for USC Wisc coming off a USC loss to Michigan.
But is there really any difference between NBC and Peacock? Couldn't NBC have picked Ohio State-Michigan State, FOX picked Michigan-Minnesota, CBS picked USC-Wisconsin, and "Peacock" picked Penn State-Illinois, in that order, and then NBC and "Peacock" switched games? The FOX Friday night game couldn't have been any of those games, so they were down to Washington-Rutgers regardless.
Could Colorado/Kansas State or a different Big 12 game be on FOX at 12pm?
I think Big 12 games filling the Big Noon slot will be few and far between now that CBS and NBC are fully executing the Big Ten TV contract.
