CFB TV Guesses for 2024 Week 10 (11/2/24)

Here are the games already set for television and/or webcast. Here are the known available telecast windows.

I have done my best to list what TV windows are out there. Every listing service has a little different schedule for these networks. It is also possible that a window could be eliminated or the time of a window could shift slightly to accommodate a network's needs.

Instead of cluttering up these posts even more, I'll try to keep track of the unique conference TV arrangements in a separate post.

A few notes and considerations:
  • Games set for TV family or start time, but not both
    • USC at Washington: Mid-afternoon or 7:30pm ET
  • SEC game time slotting
    • Early: Ole Miss at Arkansas & Vanderbilt at Auburn
    • Night: Kentucky at Tennessee & Texas A&M at South Carolina
  • ABC's 3:30pm game has been already slotted (Florida vs. Georgia)
  • My understanding is that FOX Sports has a FOX/FS1 option in the late evening in the event of a World Series game this evening.
  • ESPN does not have a late evening window planned.
  • FOX Sports has the top choice this weekend in the Big Ten. I slotted CBS second followed by  NBC.
  • I'm aware that NBC's preferred lineup suggests that USC at Washington would be the NBC game, but I don't think its the 3rd best game available anymore. I would have chosen Indiana at Michigan State, but it appears that the Spartans have been assured they'll have no more night games at home as part of the 12 day selection process.
  • I gave ESPN the top Big 12 choice.
  • The slate feels kinda light.  I think I would have dropped the noon ACCN window.
12pm ABC: Texas Tech at Iowa State
12pm FOX: Ohio State at Penn State
12pm ESPN: Ole Miss at Arkansas
12pm ESPN2: ULM at Marshall
12pm CW: North Carolina at Florida State
12pm FS1: Arizona at UCF
12pm BTN: UCLA at Nebraska
12pm ESPNU: Georgia Southern at South Alabama
12pm CBSSN: Buffalo at Akron
12pm ACCN: Virginia Tech at Syracuse
12:45pm SECN: Vanderbilt at Auburn
3:30pm CBS: Oregon at Michigan
3:30pm FOX: Kansas State at Houston
3:30pm ESPN: Pitt at SMU
3:30pm FS1: Indiana at Michigan State
3:30pm BTN: Northwestern at Purdue
3:30pm ESPNU: Toledo at Eastern Michigan
3:30pm ACCN: Stanford at NC State
3:30pm Peacock: USC at Washington
4pm ESPN2: TCU at Baylor
7pm ESPN: Texas A&M at South Carolina
7pm ESPNU: Memphis at UTSA

So last year (2023) ESPN did not have an after dark widow in week 12 but FS1 and CBSSN both had a 10:30 game. That is not the case on Nov. 2, 2024 when no games are scheduled to kickoff after 10:00 PM EDT. I will have to do more digging to see the last time there was a week with no games being broadcast starting after 10:00 PM.

I believe that week ESPN has the F1 race from Las Vegas.
