Week 2 Predictions for CFB

Now that the ACC has set its Thursday game, I have a feeling K-State's home game vs. Miami will become a Thursday nighht game.  While Miami does lead into this game with a conference game vs. BC and K-State has an FCS opponent to open the season, Miami gets to follow up this game with Bethune-Cookman and K-State has North Texas.

ABC has a NASCAR race in the evening, so they will not have an 8pm telecast.

The possibility exists that Pittsburgh-Cincinnati could play this week.  If so, that could end up as the Friday night game and the NC State-UConn game could be moved to a regional telecast or ESPN3.

I am thinking you might see the Mizzou/UGA game and the Auburn/Miss State game be switched. With this being Missouri's first SEC game and UGA being a preseason top ten team most likely, that seems like it might warrant a night game over a game between the 4th and 5th (maybe) best teams in the SEC West.

ABC had a few noon national games last year. I wouldn't be surprised if USC-Syr gets a nationally televised noon kickoff on ABC similar to Auburn vs Clemson last year. Also, despite combining to go 14-12 last year, I have a feeling that ESPN will showcase UF-TAMU as their primetime telecast with Herbstreit and Musberger calling the game since ABC will have nascar that night. The SEC wants to make a big deal out of TAMU's 1st SEC home game. As for UGA-Mizzou, I bet this one also kicks off later in the day maybe at 5:30 or 6pm on ESPN2 with Wash@LSU at 9pm. The SEC scheduled UF and UGA to open TAMU's and MIZZOU's sec home schedule for a reason. They want to showcase the two programs. That is why I doubt those games get played at noon and 3:30. finally, do you think we'll see one of the Pac 10 games move to late friday night like Mizzou-ASU last year? Maybe AZ-OKST or Ill@ASU?
