CFB Six Day TV Guesses for 11/22/25

Since we have a couple results from Friday night, here's a guess at the possible TV schedule for 11/22.  I mentioned that there were 25 games to be slotted.   In reality, its 27 games as two SEC games were set with start times that will fill, so two games will likely go to ESPN+.

Here were the constraints that were provided coming into these guesses:

* Missouri at Oklahoma is at noon on ABC or ESPN.
* Kentucky at Vanderbilt is at 3:30pm on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.
* Arkansas at Texas & Tennessee at Florida will air on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2 at 3:30pm, 7pm or 7:30pm.
* Rutgers at Ohio State, Michigan at Maryland and Michigan State at Iowa will be at 12pm, 3:30pm or 4pm ET.  They won't fill any of the evening slots,
* Colorado State at Boise State is a FOX Sports game.

For the Big Ten, I changed over my order.  I have FOX going first, then NBC, CBS, NBC.  Based on that order, I think FOX can still take a Big Ten game at noon after NBC's second choice.

I now think FOX is going first and taking USC at Oregon.  I'm told that they get one chance a year to coexist with CBS or NBC so that they can air a Big Ten intraconference game hosted on the west coast.

12pm ABC: Missouri at Oklahoma
12pm FOX: Michigan at Maryland
12pm ESPN: BYU at Cincinnati
12pm ESPN2: Louisville at SMU
12pm FS1: TCU at Houston
12pm TNT: Kansas at Iowa State
12pm BTN: Michigan State at Iowa
3:30pm ABC: Kentucky at Vanderbilt
3:30pm CBS: Rutgers at Ohio State

3:30pm ESPN2: Miami (FL) at Virginia Tech
3:30pm FS1: Arizona State at Colorado

4pm FOX: USC at Oregon
7pm NBC: Nebraska at Penn State
7pm ESPN: Pitt at Georgia Tech
7pm FS1: Colorado State at Boise State

In 2024 FOX aired two Big Ten games in the midafternoon window opposite CBS but they were UTEP/Nebraska (an obvious dud) and Nebraska/USC. I'd be pretty unhappy if I were CBS and FOX took a game as good as USC/Oregon and aired it directly against us (same with NBC). If FOX could have done that, why would they have traded away Ohio State-Oregon last year? CBS isn't going to care if FOX airs UTEP-Nebraska against Akron-Ohio State.

This season the Nebraska-UCLA game aired at 9pm ET, not sure that counts as prime time or late night but NBC was airing Notre Dame anyway so they had no right to complain. FOX should just air Big Ten games in prime time every time NBC airs a Notre Dame game instead of a Big Ten game.

You're correct, its now more like FOX chose to trade off Ohio State-Oregon to NBC so they could choose Ohio State-Penn State, which did outrate Ohio State-Oregon by about 200K viewers in the old Nielsen system.

My understanding is this is a clause that FOX can invoke once a season during conference play, and they didn't as it appears CBS was going first for 11/22.
