CFB TV Confirmations for 2021 Week 8 (10/23/21)

This post will be updated as announcements come out for start times for 10/23/21 from the twelve day selection process that most TV networks adhere to. Most conferences have the possibility of having all or part of their games held for a six day hold of the start time.

The list of available TV windows are based on media websites, TV listings and press releases. They can change based on the needs of the broadcaster or the conference.

With 2 Big 12 selections on hold for week 8, that would leave ESPN with 3 for the remainder of the season, outside of those already slotted.

Matt, can you clarify what you meant by this in your Week 8 guesses?

* Counting future selections
ESPN Networks: 14
Five in primetime (including weeknights) with a minimum of six
FOX Sports: 18
Six in primetime (including weeknights) with a maximum of nine.

Sure. Which portion needs clarification.

Do those numbers represent the number of selections for the whole season or the number that they have left for the remainder of the season?

The number is how many games they've selected, including the reservation of games in future weeks. ESPN Networks carry 27 games a year and FOX/FS1 carries 24-27.
