CFB TV Guesses for 2023 Week 9 (10/28/23)

Here are the games already set for television and/or webcast. Here are the known available telecast windows.

I have done my best to list what TV windows are out there. Every listing service has a little different schedule for these networks. It is also possible that a window could be eliminated or the time of a window could shift slightly to accommodate a network's needs.

Instead of cluttering up these posts even more, I'll try to keep track of the unique conference TV arrangements in a separate post.

A few notes and considerations:

* The following games have been set for a time slot, a time slot range or with a specific TV partner:
  • Purdue at Nebraska (12pm, 3:30pm or 4pm)
  • Wyoming at Boise State (FOX Sports)
  • UNLV at Fresno State (FOX Sports)
* CBS has no selection from the SEC as they preselected their game.  Their 12pm window is for the Big Ten.
* FOX has no primetime window due to the World Series.
* FS2 has a 5:30pm window listed, but the time for these windows can change.
* NFL Network has a 7pm window.
* CBSSN has a MAC selection at 3:30pm
* A SWAC game on ESPNU seems likely.  Two games were set aside this week with the designation of TBD instead of ESPN+.  When this occurred a few weeks back, a game was set for ESPNU.  Those games are:
  • Jackson State at UAPB
  • Prairie View A&M at Florida A&M
* Two MEAC games are also being held for an ESPNU wildcard.
  • Howard at Delaware State
  • Morgan State at Norfolk State
* I gave NBC top Big Ten choice, FOX top PAC-12 choice and ABC top Big 12 choice.

Does the ACC make teams play a conference game on their network? If so FSU only has Wake and Pitt left to play it.

Do you really think that Colorado will be ABC's choice, instead of Oregon at Utah, Washington at Stanford, USC, Oregon State? I think it all depends on the Colorado/Stanford audience last Friday

I don't know of a requirement for every team to play a conference game on ACCN.

I had FOX picking first and taking Oregon-Utah as mentioned above. Went with CU-UCLA as 2nd/3rd for ABC/ESPN.

I understand now

Not too much going on this week for ranked vs ranked games.

Fox probably has the 1st big 12 pick considering the big 12 game is big noon

Would/could FS1 or FS2 pickup any of the late afternoon/evening Big 10 games potentially?

Not FS2. FS1 is possible.

The link in the 2nd sentence has the used and available windows including a tab for NFLN. Including 10/28, 6 games of 10.
